Christian College Geelong

The Foundation

Christian College Geelong has established a fine reputation for providing excellence in education, together with a desire to build strong Christian foundations into the lives of our students from Kindergarten through to Year 12.The Christian College Foundation supports the College in its mission and aims to make this education available to as many families as possible. The Foundation has been established with the goal of providing a funding source, independent of student fees, which can be used to support students from families with disadvantaged backgrounds or those experiencing particular hardship. It also funds new initiatives, locally and globally, to enhance the educational program of our students. Our objectives also include ensuring the long-term viability of the College in these ever changing times. The Christian College Foundation supports valuable educational projects and programs, providing financial support where it is most needed. Giving to the Foundation helps us to help others. I invite you to be involved and welcome your contribution to assist us in achieving the objectives of the Christian College Geelong Foundation.

Christian College

For more than 35 years Christian College has been providing an enriching educational experience for young people, establishing a fine reputation for inspiring a love of learning and empowering students to meet the challenges of a changing world. The College currently has more than 2,000 students enrolled from Kindergarten to Year 12 and continues to grow. Aligned with this growth we continually seek to provide a high quality learning environment and a challenging student experience. We create a sense of belonging by sharing the educational journey with students, parents, staff and the wider community. The College strives to nurture each student’s spirit and character building a sense of self-worth, hope and confidence.

The salvation army

These scholarships are offered to students involved in a variety of The Salvation Army programs such as the ‘Just Brass’ program. These young people come from family circumstances and socio-economic situations that would normally preclude them from enrolment at Christian College.

Student Placements

Life can sometimes present us with unexpected challenges. Through our Sponsored Student Placement program we can ensure our students maintain a stable educational experience should life take an unexpected turn. We are also able to offer some support to families who would not otherwise be able to afford a Christian College education.

East Times

Christian College became involved in assisting Timor Leste in 2002. In 2003 when Geelong was paired with the sister city of Viqueque, a Christian College Timor Leste Friendship Committee was formed. It is no small achievement that we are into our second 10 year period of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Viqueque region. We continue to work meaningfully by providing teacher training, assisting with the refurbishment of schools along with providing employment and training opportunities.

A bequest in your Will to the Christian College Geelong Foundation is a gift that will ensure Christian College Geelong continues its provision of excellent educational opportunities for future generations.
